Roots & Wings Yoga Wellness has partnered with Opt2Liv to offer a rich wellness journeys through the Art of Yoga for the past five years. Upon deep reflection, we have decided to take a one year sabbatical to work on some new projects as well as to continuing the conscious evolution of our Art of Yoga Teacher Training offerings.
We know that holding loving space for the others to learn, grow and live with more joy and peace through our 200 and 300 hour trainings is part of our Dharma and we look so forward to launching these refreshed trainings again in the fall of 2025.

Yoga is Union
Yoga can take many forms but at its root, it is a practice of how to live in harmony with your own being and the world around you. Learning how to allow the body, mind and spirit to work together cultivates a life with more resilience, grace and ultimately joy.
Yoga is an ancient practice that originated in India as a science. Since its inception, many spiritual practices have woven yoga into their teachings.
Our yoga teacher training is designed to hold space for yoga to fit into YOUR life - no matter your believe system.
We are all multidimensional energetic beings and yoga can work on the physical, mental, emotional and soul levels of anyone who wishes to learn more about the amazing world and the bodies we live in!

200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training
Our 200 hour yoga teacher training is designed for those who have not already participated in a YTT program. We will use the eight limb path as inspiration for our teaching which includes:
Asana - the physical practice
Pranayama - breathing practices
Yamas - how you relate to the outer world
Niyamas - how you relate to your inner world
Dharana - concentration / mindfullness
Dhyana - meditation
Samadhi - how do you experience bliss
300 Hour Yoga Teacher Training
If you are already RYT-200 certified, we offer a 300 hour yoga teacher training program to deepen your practice. We like to think of this as a masters degree in yoga. The deeper you dive into yoga, the more you realized there is still so much to learn. In fact, we encourage you to always remains a yoga student first. It is truly about the journey and not the final destination! Some of the concepts woven in our 300 hour program include:
Physical and meta physical anatomy
Dharma Discovery
Pranayama
Asana
Meditation
Yoga Nidra
Time to dive into specific areas of study unique to your interests.
